How Fidgely collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data.

Fidgely (“we”, “us”) operates this ecommerce store. This policy explains how personal data is handled when you browse the site, place an order, create an account, or contact us.
Who is responsible for your data?
Controller: the operator of Fidgely. Legal entity and registered-address details will be added to our Legal Notice once registration is complete. Privacy requests can be sent to fidgelystore@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Order and identity data: name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number if supplied, order contents, and transaction references.
- Account data: login and profile information if you create an account.
- Payment data: payment status and limited transaction details. Payment providers process full card or wallet credentials; Fidgely does not store full card numbers.
- Support data: messages, order numbers, and photos or files you send.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, security events, logs, cookie identifiers, and site interactions.
- Preferences and marketing data: consent choices and communications preferences.
We do not request medical records or use purchases to diagnose health conditions. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive data in support messages.
Why we use data
- To take payment, fulfill and deliver orders, provide tracking, process returns, and provide customer support under our contract with you.
- To prevent fraud, secure the site, maintain records, and improve store operations based on legitimate interests.
- To meet tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and other legal obligations.
- To use non-essential analytics or marketing technologies when you consent, where consent is required.
Who receives data?
We share only the data reasonably needed with service providers such as WordPress/WooCommerce, hosting providers, payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal when offered), email providers, fraud-prevention services, and shipping or fulfillment partners. International fulfillment partners, including partners in China, may receive the name, address, contact details, and order information needed to deliver your parcel. We do not sell personal data for money.
International transfers
Providers and fulfillment partners may process data outside your country. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we use an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism where required.
Retention
Order and transaction records are generally retained for up to seven years where tax, accounting, or legal rules require it. Account data is kept while the account is active and then deleted or anonymized subject to required records. Support messages and security logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for support, disputes, security, and legal compliance. Consent records are kept as needed to demonstrate your choices.

Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive your data; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data protection authority. Fidgely does not discriminate against people who exercise privacy rights.

Security and children
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS and access controls, but no internet system is completely secure. The store is intended for people able to make a lawful purchase. We do not knowingly collect children’s data without appropriate parental or guardian authority.
